Private Parties

Live Guitar for your Corporate Event or Private Party.

Live music is the key to any successful event. It adds an ambiance and an element of style. Michael has been playing the guitar for 45 years, and playing “Live” for over 40 years. His favorite part of performing is “people”, and how they respond to his beautiful live music. It remains his driving inspiration to continue playing his guitar.

Michael uses only the finest in professional equipment. He owns 12 guitars and will bring whichever instruments best suit your event. Whether it is a Jazz Box, Acoustic, Classical, Slide or (his favorite) The Gibson 335, his instruments are a critical part of his sound. He uses a Bose L1 Personal Amplification System which is top-of-the-line for clear, concise and accurate sound reproduction.

You are probably asking yourself “How does one musician make all this happen?”

Michael’s live guitar playing is supplemented with digital rhythm and backing tracks to produce the clear sound of an entire band.

These tracks are carefully selected and cover a wide spectrum of music.

The most popular are “Smooth Jazz”, “Bossa Nova”, “Latin”, “Blues”, “Traditional Jazz”, “Soft Rock Favorites”.

In addition Michael has an excellent assortment of original jazz fusion music. He utilizes selections from Carlos Santana, Larry Carlton, George Benson, Eric Clapton, The Eagles and Wes Montgomery.

Over the course of the evening, Michael will “read the room” and play what he believes your guests will enjoy! Michael has been performing live at Anthem Golf & Country Club on a regular basis for the past 4 years. In season, he performs on Thursday evenings at the Persimmon Bar & Grille during Pasta and Vino dinner.
